If you’re considering having your teeth straightened and want to know what the first step is on your journey towards that perfect smile…..an orthodontic assessment is the answer. But what can you expect from an orthodontic assessment at Park Lane Orthodontics?
At the orthodontic assessment you will be assessed by a specialist orthodontist and be given the opportunity to openly discuss what you don’t like about your smile and what your requirements for treatment are. The orthodontist will look at your teeth, and clinical photographs will be taken to help both you and the orthodontist look at the problems with both the appearance of the teeth and how they work together.
Once you have had the full orthodontic assessment, the orthodontist will discuss with you their recommended treatment options so that the right solution can be found for you. Time is then spent with our treatment coordinator, who will discuss the various brace options that have been recommended and potential finance options for the treatment (if required).
You will usually be with us for an hour or more, and all of this for only £60.
If you decide to get your teeth straightened, the only costs after the assessment will be for the treatment itself. But how much do braces cost? Orthodontic treatment fees are as individual as the patients we assess, but the starting price for adult treatment is as little as £2,175. However, as a guideline prices are generally £3,000 – £5,000 for a comprehensive treatment with a fixed clear brace. Invisible braces which fit behind the teeth are more expensive as they are made bespoke for each patient, and would range from £3,500 – £7,500
