It is our pleasure to announce that we have been accepted as an accredited teaching practice by Warwick University for their Orthodontic Therapist Course.
As we are now a training centre and due to changes to the way orthodontic treatment is carried out, we will now have a Student Orthodontic Therapist.
Starting this week, Sonja, one of our current nurses, is training to become an Orthodontic Therapist under the supervision of Ben Buffham, Specialist Orthodontist. Therefore from this day forward some of our patient’s routine appointments will be with Sonja on some occasions – with constant supervision during the year long course.
This is a very exciting opportunity for Sonja and ultimately for us to improve the services we can offer to all of our patients.
