So why pay for them to have their teeth straightened? If you asked all of my American friends that question they would probably tell you that they wanted their children to look good, be confident and get on well in the world. They associate good looks with success and wealth. Whilst we may not agree entirely with their sentiments, there is no doubt that someone&#8217;s appearance can affect confidence.
