What’s new for 2016?
The only sure thing in life is change, and so here we are at the start of 2016 with some exciting things happening at Park Lane Orthodontics.
Firstly, Meera one of our Orthodontic Assistants left to go on maternity leave and safely delivered a son at the start of the year. We wish her all the best in motherhood. Henry, our other Orthodontic Assistant is also off to new pastures – having become a father last year he has decided to look for employment nearer to home as the commute from London was proving difficult. We wish him all the success in the world with whatever he decides to do in the future.
This has meant a few changes for the clinical team and the diary, but with Sonja now a fully qualified Orthodontic Therapist we are managing beautifully with Ben and Paula leading the clinical team.
Other changes include new nurses joining the team. We welcome to the family Steven Parker as our Head Orthodontic Nurse and Vanessa Turk and Katha Mullins as our Orthodontic Nurses. We are looking forwards to see how they develop and grow with us over the next year.
Jess, our Lead Cross Infection Nurse is off on maternity leave in May, for baby number 2, and we are looking forwards to meeting her new son soon.
On the surgery side of things, we have had another new delivery! We now have our iTero Elements scanner and we are hoping not only to streamline the Invisalign process but move towards a totally impression free practice by the end of the year. We will keep you updated with how that is going as the year progresses.
Best wishes
The Park Lane Team
